Purdue has offered several quarterbacks thus far in 2007 and there are more that are on the cusp of getting an offer from the Boilers. One of the those quarterbacks is Peter Badovinac, a 6-foot-3, 205-pounder, from Loyola Academy in Wilmette, Illinois.
“I don’t have any scholarship offers yet,”
Peter Badovinac
told the Boiler Sports Report.
“I’m hearing from a lot of schools.

“I went to junior days at Nebraska and Iowa. I went to spring practices and got to sit in on some quarterback meetings at places like Michigan State, Missouri, Northwestern and Michigan State.
“My current favorites are Nebraska, Iowa, Michigan State, Wisconsin, Northwestern, Northern Illinois and Purdue.”
Badovinac is coached by former Illinois and NFL linebacker John Holicek. We caught up with Coach Holicek and asked him if he could shed some light on his signal caller.
“Peter (Badovinac) is a good football player.” Holicek said. “Peter has a good body, a good arm and he’s smart. I’d say he’s an overachiever. Peter has a good feel for the game and he’s still has some room to get better.”
Badovinac threw for 1,893 yards and 14 touchdowns as a junior and earned 2nd team all-conference honors. Peter is also solid in the classroom carrying a 97% GPA and scoring 31 on his ACT.
