BoilerSportsReport.com Has a New Publisher
Purdue Boilermakers

Posted Apr 24, 2007

Scout.com is pleased to announce that Chris Pool has been signed to serve as the Publisher of BoilerSportsReport.com, Scout’s Purdue website.

“It’s great to be back with Scout.com. After years of covering recruiting exclusively, I’m looking forward to running BoilerSportsReport, where I can provide deep recruiting coverage along with team coverage” said Pool. “There’s a lot of excitement around the Purdue programs right now. Joe Tiller and his Purdue football team are respected not only in the Big Ten but on the national scope as well and Matt Painter has begun to put his stamp on the Boilermaker basketball program.”

Pool has had a long and distinguished career covering football prospects as the Midwest Recruiting analyst for Scout.com and Rivals.com, and has been scouting Illinois prospects since 1992. In addition, Pool is a former player and coach at Joliet Catholic Academy.

Over the past ten years, Pool has contributed to several newspapers in the Midwest including the Chicago Tribune, Detroit Free-Press and the Cincinnati Enquirer. In addition, Pool has served as a recruiting experts on several prominent radio programs, and his recruiting content has been syndicated on FoxSports.com and Yahoo.com.
