Gene Keady finally got the call to the hall.
Keady, Purdue's coach of 25 years, will be inducted into the College Basketball Hall of Fame as member of its 2013 class.
The class of 2013 also includes Rollie Massimino and former United States congressman Tom McMillen. The three will be inducted in a ceremony on Nov. 23 in Kansas City, part of a three-day celebration.
Keady served as Purdue's head coach from 1980 through 2005, winning 512 games the Boilermakers' head coach. He was a seven-time Big Ten Coach of the Year and six-time National Coach of the Year.
As Purdue's head coach, Keady led the Boilermakers to six Big Ten championships and 17 NCAA Tournament appearances.
