Purdue forward Sandi Marcius is considering a transfer for his fifth year of eligibility, according to a source. Purdue is encouraging the forward to stay.

Marcius, a 6-foot-9, 268-pound forward, averaged just 9.3 minutes and 3.3 points per game. He will graduate from Purdue this spring and would not be required to sit out as a transfer, per NCAA rules.

A native of Croatia and graduate of La Lumiere (Ind.) Academy, Marcius has played a reserve role for much of his Purdue career. This past season, he backed up starting center A.J. Hammons.

Boiler Sports Report will offer further updates on Marcius' future as they are made available.
