Jim Bollman left Purdue after a little more than one month as offensive line coach. His new replacement, Jim Bridge, leaves Illinois after just a one-month stint.
New Purdue head coach Darrell Hazell completed his coaching staff on Tuesday with the hiring of Bridge, a 21-year assistant coach who spent six years with North Carolina State before leaving to Illinois.
Bridge was set to join Illinois' spring drills which opened on Tuesday. Instead, he is at Purdue's football offices to accept the position, Boiler Sports Report has learned.
An official announcement from Purdue has yet to be made. The Boilermakers open their spring drills on March 19.
