Taywan Taylor helped his PRP Panthers to the 6-A state championship game this season. The 6-foot-1, 185-pound wide receiver earned a handful of scholarship offers, but one school sold him on their future plans for him.
"I love coach Petrino's offensive scheme he has planned for this season," said Taylor.
Taylor feels like the coaches that Petrino has assembled can help him develop into a professional prospect.
"I know this coaching staff will train me and prepare me play to the best of my ability. Then I'll have a great chance to make it to the NFL," Taylor continued.
"I chose Western (Kentucky) because I just felt like they were the best fit for me," he finished.
