Anthrop Commits to Purdue

Purdue lands Lafayette Central Catholic (Ind.) wide receiver Danny Anthrop.

Purdue picked up an in-state commitment from Lafayette Central Catholic class of 2012 wide receiver Danny Anthrop on Thursday night according to the Journal and Courier.

The 6'1, 180-lb Anthrop held offers from Ball State and Akron along with interest from Northwestern, Indiana, Notre Dame and others.

An impact player since his sophomore season, Anthrop regularly run in the high 4.3-low 4.4 range at summer camps this year. He had 46 receptions for 692 yards and 13 touchdowns his sophomore season, and snagged 53 passes for 880 yards and 12 touchdowns as a junior. Recommended Stories
